Tongfei is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil Engineering at McGill University, supervised by Prof. Sarah Jordaan and co-supervised by Prof. Sylvain Coulombe. Before starting his Ph.D., he obtained his undergraduate and master's degrees from Sichuan University, China. Now, he is pursuing to achieve a net-zero future world with green hydrogen and ammonia and evaluating them by integrating life cycle assessment and techno-economic analysis. Primarily, he focuses on emerging technologies with low technology readiness levels of hydrogen and ammonia production. He is also interested in identifying and addressing the barriers to scaling up and deploying emerging technologies.
